Hands-on human help to grow
A perinatal education program founded in 1989, teaching self-hypnosis, breathing, and relaxation techniques to reduce fear and the perception of pain during childbirth.

Fear is not an inevitable part of birth. When a woman understands what her body is doing and trusts it, tension dissolves — and with it, most of what we call pain.
HypnoBirthing® is a structured childbirth preparation program founded in 1989 by Marie F. Mongan. It teaches self-hypnosis, slow breathing, visualisation, and relaxation techniques designed to interrupt the fear–tension–pain cycle that can intensify the experience of labor. Families attend five group or private sessions, typically starting around 28–30 weeks of pregnancy, and practice daily relaxation scripts at home.
