What it doesn't tell you: how many coaching hours they have accumulated since certifying, what specific health and wellness domains they focus on, and whether they're still actively coaching. The credential is rigorous for its domain, but as with any coaching certification, the coach's ongoing practice matters as much as the credential.

If you are managing a diagnosed health condition, your primary care team should be leading that care; a Certified Wellcoach® can be a valuable complement, not a replacement, for clinical management.
