These can be applied toward ICF credential renewal (ACC, PCC, or MCC). Fundamentals is the first step toward the full ORSC Level 2 pathway and the ORSCC credential.

Do I need prior experience in systems coaching to attend?

No. Fundamentals is the entry point to the ORSC curriculum and requires no prior experience in systems coaching or ORSC. It is designed to be taken first, before the Intermediate courses.

How does ORSC differ from individual coaching?

Accepted Answer

ORSC treats the relationship — the team, partnership, couple, or organisation — as the client, not the individuals within it. The methodology is built around the concept of the Third Entity: every relationship system has its own intelligence, voice, and personality that is distinct from the people comprising it. Coaching the system requires different tools and a different perceptual frame than coaching individuals.

What comes after Fundamentals?

The full ORSC series consists of five courses: Fundamentals, Intelligence, Geography, Path, and Systems Integration — 14 days of training total, earning 84 ICF CCEs. Courses must be taken in sequence. ORSC Certification, the mastery-level program, follows the series and earns the ORSCC credential and approximately 96.5 additional CCEs. The full series also meets the 60 training hours required for the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC).

ORSC Certification is a 35-week mastery-level ICF Level 2 program: two semesters of applied practice, supervision, mentor coaching, and a World Work Project. Graduates receive the ORSCC credential.

Is ORSC suited for couples or just teams?

Both. The ORSC methodology applies to any relationship system: teams, co-founder partnerships, couples, families, and even the inner system of voices within one person. Fundamentals is geared toward personal coaching, therapy, and social work; ORS@Work is the alternative entry-point course geared toward corporate and OD contexts.

CRR Global creates and oversees the ORSC curriculum. Training is delivered by CRR Global directly and through licensed partner organizations in 15+ countries.

Does ORSC qualify toward ICF ACTC certification?

The full five-course ORSC series meets the 60 training hours required for the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC). CRR Global also holds the ICF AATC at the organizational level, validating its curriculum against ICF team coaching standards.

Ask which ORSC courses they have completed and when — Fundamentals, the Intermediate series, and ORSC Certification are meaningfully different levels of preparation, and recency matters for a methodology that requires ongoing practice. Ask specifically whether they work with systems — teams, organisations, partnerships — or primarily with individuals using ORSC as a lens; those are different practices. Ask what the Third Entity concept means to them and how they apply it; a practitioner who can explain it clearly in terms of a real coaching situation demonstrates genuine integration of the methodology, not just exposure to the vocabulary. Ask about their supervision arrangements: systems coaching raises complex ethical and interpersonal dynamics, and practitioners who continue to develop with supervision typically work at a higher standard than those who don't.
