European Association for Supervision and Coaching (EASC)
EASC is a European professional association for supervision and coaching, tracing its origins to a group of supervisors who founded it in Hanover in 1994. European Coaching Association (ECA)
ECA is the European Coaching Association, founded in Germany in 1994 as the world's first professional association for coaching. It licenses coaches at three levels and accredits nearly 60 training institutes across Europe.
Institute of Leadership (IOL)
UK-based professional membership body for leaders and managers, founded in 1947. Accredits leadership and management programmes through its Institute Approved framework, and maintains a community of 50,000+ professionals across four membership grades: AIoL, MIoL, FIoL, and Companion.
International Association of Coaching (IAC)
Global non-profit coaching association founded in 2003 offering mastery-based certification through nine Coaching Masteries®, assessed by demonstrated skill rather than training hours accumulated.
International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring (IAPC&M)
UK-based independent accreditation body for coaches, mentors, and training providers; offering four levels from Practitioner to Fellow, registered with the IRCM as an independently overseen accreditation organisation.
International Regulator of Coaching and Mentoring CIC (IRCM CIC)
The International Regulator of Coaching and Mentoring CIC (IRCM CIC) is the only independent regulatory body for the coaching and mentoring industry, incorporated in England in 2011. It maintains directories of registered coaches, mentors, training organisations, and professional bodies, and operates an independent ombudsman service for consumer protection.
National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)
US-based credentialing body established in 2012. It issues the NBC-HWC credential through a board exam developed with the National Board of Medical Examiners, with more than 11,000 certified coaches.
